Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Influence of Product Quality and Price on Purchasing Decisions for Sand Metal Roof Tiles at the Putra Bima Karawang Roof Tile Factory. The number of samples was 97 consumers. For data analysis using statistical tests and calculations using multiple regression with the IBM SPSS version 23 program. The results of the statistical research test showed that Product Quality did not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions at the Putra Bima Karawang roof tile factory, as evidenced by the results of the t-test obtained t count of the product quality variable (X1) was 0.247 and the t table value was 1.661, then t count < t table (0.247 < 1.661) with a significance value (0.806> 0.05). Then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, which means that product quality (X1) has no positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (Y). tcount of price variable (X2) is 4.833 and ttable value is 1.661 then tcount> ttable (4.833> 1.661) with significance value (0.000 <0.05). So Ho is rejected Ha is accepted which means price (X2) has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (Y). The results of the correlation coefficient (R2) which simultaneously (together) between the product quality variables (X1) and price (X2) on purchasing decisions (Y) are 0.203. This means that 20.3% of purchasing decision variables are influenced by product quality and price. The remaining 79.7% are influenced by other variables outside of this study, such as service quality and social media marketing.
