Abstract

Based on research that has been conducted, there are still many employees in Indonesia who experience problems with work engagement. This research aims to determine the influence of work demands and work resources on work engagement in teachers This research uses quantitative correlational methods. The subjects used were 98 teachers. This research uses interviews, psychological scales and questionnaires. The instrument used is work engagement using the UWES-17 standard scale. (Scahufelli, 2003) with a reliability of 0.931 (Cronbach alpha). The data analysis used is Pearson product moment and single regression. The results obtained are F = 0.328, p < 0.05. It can be said that there is a positive influence between work engagement and work demands and work resources. With a contribution of 39% and the other 61% influenced by other variables.
