Abstract
This study aims to; first; describe the transformational leadership strategy of the principal of SDIT Al-Manar, Second; describe the principal's strategy in increasing public trust through school synergy white committee at Al-Manar Integrated Islamic Elementary School, Bekasi City. and third; analyzing the positive impact of the synergy between the principal and the committee of the Al-Manar Integrated Islamic Elementary School. This research was motivated by the erosion or reduction of public trust in SDIT Al-Manar, so that through the transformational leadership practices carried out by the principal of SDIT Al-Manar, he tries to restore and increase community trust through synergy with the school committee. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, using a case study. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of the principal, school committee, deputy principal for curriculum, some teachers and parents of students. The results of the study show that the transformational leadership strategy of the Principal of Al-Manar Islamic Elementary School was carried out by maintaining and implementing the main principles: Simplification of the school's vision and mission, inspiring motivation for both teachers and students, supporting facilities in the learning process, innovation and readiness for positive change for the progress of the school, commitment to solving problems. The results of the second research showed that the strategy of the Principal of Al-Manar Islamic Elementary School synergized with the committee to increase public trust, namely by building effective and transparent communication, building a positive image of the school by providing program information to the school community, especially parents of students through the committee, involving the committee in decision-making on every activity and all problems of the school community, and involving the committee in supervising school programs. The positive impact of the synergy between the Principal of SDIT Al-Manar and the Committee is: the school's reputation and image are increasing, community participation is more maximal and optimal, parents and the community are very interested in SDIT Al-Manar and the number of students is increasing.
