Abstract

Abstract Canesya Lativa Jahera Wibowo, 41182109210038: Improving Mathematical Concept Understanding in Division Material Through the Circuit Learning Model for Fourth-Grade Students at SDIT Widya Duta, Bekasi City. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Universitas 45 Bekasi. This study was motivated by students’ low understanding of mathematical concepts, characterized by their inability to explain the concept of division in their own words, their difficulty in determining the results of division, and their inability to solve problems related to daily life. This Classroom Action Research aims to improve the understanding of mathematical concepts through the application of the Circuit Learning model. The method used in this study was Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles with fourth-grade students as the research subjects, where each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The data collection technique in this study used a written test in the form of essay questions to measure students’ understanding of mathematical concepts. The study was considered successful if 75% of students achieved a minimum score of 75. The results of the study showed that the fourth-grade class’s classical mastery increased from Cycle I to Cycle II.
