Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work engagement and job stress on employee turnover intentions, particularly in a manufacturing industry environment with high levels of work pressure. This study used a quantitative correlational approach and involved 65 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using the Spearman correlation test, multiple linear regression, and simultaneous analysis. The results indicate that work engagement and job stress have a very strong and significant relationship with employee turnover intentions. The Spearman Rank correlation test showed that work engagement was significantly related to turnover intentions (r = 0.809; p < 0.05), and work stress also showed a very strong and significant relationship (r = 0.830; p < 0.05). The simultaneous analysis (F-test) also proved that both independent variables jointly had a significant effect on turnover intentions, thus the regression model was deemed adequate and all research hypotheses were accepted.
