Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Islamic corporate social responsibility on the profitability and reputation of sharia commercial banking companies for the 2018-2023 period. The population in this research is Sharia Commercial Banks operating in Indonesia. This research uses purposive sampling. The number of samples used was 10 Sharia Commercial Banks, namely Bank Aceh Syariah, Bank NTB Syariah, Bank Muamalat, Bank Mega Syariah, Bank Panin Dubai Syariah, Bank Bukopin Syariah, Bank BCA Syariah, Bank Jabar Banten Syariah, National Pension Savings Bank Syariah and Bank Victoria Sharia. The type of research used is quantitative research using panel data regression analysis. Testing was carried out with the Eviews program. The research results show that the Islamic corporate social responsibility variable partially has a significant positive influence on profitability as proxied by Return On Equity (ROE) and Islamic corporate social responsibility has a significant positive influence on reputation as proxied by Third Party Funds The results of the analysis show that Islamic corporate social responsibility has an influence on the profitability and reputation of Islamic commercial bank companies. This explains how Islamic corporate social responsibility, which is an important aspect of sharia commercial banking companies, can influence the profitability and reputation of sharia commercial banking companies.
