Abstract

This study examines the relationship between voice behavior, psychological empowerment and psychological safety at PT Surya Madsitrindo. The importance of this research lies in the low psychological security that can be supported by vocal behavior and psychological empowerment. Aims to determine the description of variables, the relationship between variables, and test the effect of voice behavior and psychological empowerment on psychological safety. Using quantitative methods, interviews, and psychological scales. The research subjects were 50 employees of the marketing division of PT Surya Madistrindo. The sampling technique was cluster random sampling. Using the voice behavior scale from Van Dyne and Lepine (2003) with r=0.925, the psychological empowerment scale from Spreitzer (1995) with r=0.848, and the psychological safety scale compiled by researchers with r=0.954. Data analysis techniques used descriptive techniques, Spearman Rank hypothesis testing, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed a significant positive relationship between voice behavior and psychological safety (r = 0.496 p = 0.000) and a positive relationship between psychological empowerment and psychological safety (r = 0.308 p = 0.030). The effect of voice behavior and psychological empowerment on psychological safety is 27.8% (R2 = 0.247; F = 9.056, p = <0.000) and 72.2% is influenced by other variables.
