Abstract

The well-being of teachers is still relatively low and uneven, which impacts the decline in the quality and enthusiasm of teachers in imparting knowledge and makes teachers unhappy in providing education. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of self-esteem and social support on the subjective well-being of high school teachers in Bekasi Regency. This research uses a correlational quantitative method. The sampling technique used is multistage cluster random sampling with a total of 97 teachers from 4 high schools in Bekasi Regency. The methods in this study involve interviews and psychological scales. Based on the results of the Spearman rank analysis, there is a significant relationship between self-esteem and subjective well-being, with the results showing r=0.615,p=0.000 (p< 0.05). The test between social support and subjective well-being also shows a significant relationship with the results of r = 0.683, p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). Then, through the multiple linear regression analysis technique, the results show Sig.F= 0.000b, R Square = 0.392, which means that self-esteem and social support contribute 39.2% to subjective well-being.
