Abstract

The phenomenon of plastic waste from household products hurts the environment, especially in the sea. Homemakers often consume single-use plastic packaging in their daily use. The Ministry of Environment and Forestry explained that in 2020 household products will be the most significant contributor to water waste, and concerns about environmental issues will be the driving factor for the Siklus Refill Indonesia ("Siklus") to initiate the #AyoIsiUlang movement. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method to determine the effect of the #AyoIsiUlang message generated by the survey on 100 followers of the Instagram account @siklusrefill. The study results show that the #AyoIsiUlang message significantly influences changes in environmental care attitudes on the Instagram account @siklusrefill by having an R Square value > 0.67, namely 0.683, which is included in the strong category. The results for the characteristics of followers are also dominated by women aged 15-24 years with an undergraduate education level who work as private employees, most of whom live in Jakarta and Bekasi according to the "Siklus" coverage area.
