Bachelor’s Thesis. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Universitas Islam 45. Vocabulary mastery is a crucial aspect of English learning. However, third-grade students at SDN Bojong Rawalumbu X still have low English vocabulary mastery, as evidenced by difficulty recognizing word forms, misspelling English vocabulary, difficulty understanding meanings, imprecise pronunciation, and inability to use simple sentences. To address these issues, this study aims to improve English vocabulary mastery by using the scramble learning model, using flashcards as the medium. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 36 third-grade students at SDN Bojong Rawalumbu X in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data collection techniques were observation, written tests, and oral tests. The success criteria for this assessment were 80% with a minimum score of 80. The results indicate that the implementation of the scramble learning model, using flashcards, can improve students' English vocabulary mastery. The improvement was evident in the students' completion rate in cycle I, which was 69.44%, with an average score of 78.66. Meanwhile, cycle II saw an increase, with completion rate reaching 88.88%, with an average score of 88,80. Improvements were seen in all indicators, including word forms, meanings, pronunciation, and usage. The scramble learning model encourages students to actively engage in arranging and using vocabulary, thereby aiding their understanding of word forms and usage; meanwhile, flashcards facilitate comprehension and retention through visual aids, making the material easier to grasp. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the scramble learning model supported by flashcards is effective in enhancing English vocabulary mastery among third-grade students at SDN Bojong Rawalumbu X.
