Abstract

ABSTRACT Work engagement reflects the employee's enthusiasm for their work. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence and relationship betwee psychological empowerment and psychological well-being on work engagement. This study uses a quantitative approach method. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling or saturated study where all members of the population are sampled as many as 100 employees. The instruments in this study are the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) compiled by Bakker, psychological empowerment compiled by Spritzer, and the psychological well-being scale. The results of the correlation test show that there is a relationship between psychological empowerment and work engagement (r = 0.677, p < 0.05), there is a relationship between psychological well-being and work engagement (r = 0.585, p < 0.05). The results of the regression test show that there is an influence between psychological empowerment and psychological well-being on work engagement with a value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05) and p = 0.046 (p < 0.05). These results indicate that there is an influence between psychological empowerment and psychological well-being on work engagement.
