Abstract

The quality of the information in a media has the potential to influence people to behave, meaning that the information on the website has a role to influence users. Attitude is a certain regularity in terms of feelings (affects), thoughts (cognition), and predisposition to actions (conation) of a person towards an aspect in the surrounding environment. The formulation of the problem in this research. Is there any influence from the quality of information on the pmii.id website on the attitudes of PMII members in Bekasi City?. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the quality of information on the pmii.id website on the attitudes of PMII members in Bekasi City. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Variable X is the quality of information and variable Y is Attitude. The results of this study note that the quality of information has a positive effect on attitudes with a significant value in obtaining the Sig value. 0.000 > of the value (a) which is 0.05. The results of the T-test (partial) are T count of 6.959 > T table of 0.2146. The result of the F test (simultaneous) is the value of Sig. of 0.000. The significance of b/constant gets a Sig value of 0.000 > from the value of (a) which is 0.05, meaning that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The indicator in the quality of information that most influences the attitude of members is the indicator of time. The value of T count 0.317 > T table 0.2146 means that the indicator in the variable of information quality influences the attitude of the members the most. Indicators in attitudes that are most influenced by the quality of information are cognitive indicators with a value of T count 9.096 > T table 0.2146, meaning that cognitive indicators are most influenced by information quality variables. The results of Rsquare/R^2 obtained a value of 0.371, meaning the influence of the quality of pmii.id news information on the attitudes of PMII Bekasi City members was 37% and the rest of the members' attitudes were influenced by other variables not included in this study.
