Abstract

The human resources needed by the company are those who are committed to their work. This research was conducted to determine the influence of self-determination and job crafting on work engagement at CV. Berlian Jaya Mandiri. This research uses a quantitative approach with a population of 50 employees using census study techniques. The data collection method uses interviews and psychological scales, namely the self-determination scale, the Job Crafting Scale (JCS), and the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) with a reliability test using the Alpha Cronbach formula. Data analysis used descriptive analysis, normality test and linearity test. Pearson product moment analysis (r = 0.457; p > 0.001) shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between self-determination and work engagemen, (r = 0.457; p > 0.001) shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between job crafting and work engagement. (Based on the results of the determinant coefficient (R2 0.284), this means that self-determination and job crafting influence work engagement by 28.4%.
