Abstract

Teaching staff have an important role in the progress of the nation's children, so that any teaching or education they provide is very influential for students. Therefore, teaching staff are required to work professionally and optimally, this is due to the large amount of responsibility they carry, this condition can reduce the psychological well being of teaching staff. Several factors that influence psychological well-being are religiosity and social support from colleagues. Teaching staff who have religiosity in doing their work and adhere to religious teachings can have a good impact on psychological well-being. Support given by colleagues and being able to build good relationships can trigger the formation of good psychological well being. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between variables and to determine whether religiosity and social support from co-workers have an effect on psychological well-being in teaching staff at the White Lotus Foundation. This research is a quantitative research with correlational statistical design and this research uses population studies. Researchers used all the existing population numbers, namely 62 teaching staff at the Global White Lotus Foundation. The data collection method used a questionnaire/questionnaire, the research instrument used was the psychology scale of religiosity, social support from colleagues, and psychological well being (psychological well-being) using the Likert scale. The instrument reliability test using the Cronbach's alpha formula yielded a value of r alpha = 0.940 for the religiosity scale, r alpha = 0.889 for the scale of social support for coworkers, and r alpha = 0.952 for the psychological well being scale. The Spearman rank correlation results on the religiosity variable with psychological well being yield a coefficient of r=0.420 with a significance value of Sig=0.001 (p <0.05) which is significant. Spearman's rank correlation results on the variable coworkers' social support with psychological well being yield a coefficient of r=0.584 with a significance value of Sig=0.000 (p <0.05) which is stated to be significant, which means that the two variables have a significant relationship. The results of multiple linear regression tests on the effect of religiosity and social support from co-workers on psychological well-being resulted in an F of 24,114 with a significant value of p = 0.000, meaning that religiosity and social support from coworkers have an influence on psychological well-being. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.450 which means religiosity and social support from colleagues have an influence on psychological well being
