Abstract

Muhammad Hamdi Choerullah 4118219119005, This thesis is entitled "The Application of the Traditional Sport Hadang to Improve Physical Fitness of Students at SDN Setiadarma 02". Department of Physical Education. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of implementing the traditional sport Hadang on the physical fitness of students at SDN Setiadarma 02. This experimental study involved two variables: the independent variable was Hadang training and the dependent variable was the students’ physical fitness. The population comprised 70 extracurricular sports participants from grades 4, 5, and 6 at SDN Setiadarma 02. A purposive sampling technique was used to select a sample of 30 students. Assessment instruments were based on pre-test and post-test scores using the TKJI test for children aged 10–12 years. The Application of the traditional sport Hadang had a significant effect on the physical fitness of students at SDN Setiadarma 02. This is evidenced by the significance test result thitung (12,07) > ttabel (1,69) Keyword : Traditional Sports, Physical Fitness, Traditional Games
