Abstract
This research aims to explore the role of the principal's servant leadership in improving the managerial competence of teachers at SD Negeri Kebalen 02. Servant leadership, which focuses on empowerment, development and support, is considered key in creating an environment that facilitates teacher professional growth. This study identifies supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing servant leadership, as well as effective strategies for improving teacher managerial skills. Enabling factors include teacher empowerment, appropriate training, and a collaborative work environment, while barriers include resistance to change and limited resources. School principals can overcome these challenges by providing ongoing training, mentoring programs, and constructive feedback systems. Regular evaluation and adjustment of strategies is also necessary to ensure success. With this approach, school principals can facilitate the development of teachers' managerial skills, which in turn, improve the quality of education in schools. This research provides insight into how servant leadership can be implemented effectively in the context of basic education and its contribution to improving teacher managerial competence.
