Abstract
Muhammad Ayyub Khan Alhasani. Application of the Think Pair Share type Cooperative Learning Model to Improve Moral Creed Learning Outcomes at VII MTs TQ Al-Adab. This research was motivated by problems that occurred in class VII students at MTs TQ Al-Adab where there were still many students who had not reached the criteria for completeness in the moral aqidah lesson. The aim of this research is to find out how the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model is implemented and student learning outcomes in the subject of moral beliefs after implementing the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model because the problems currently occurring are that many students are not yet conducive to learning, causing a flow learning is disrupted. The research method used in this research is the classroom action research method (Action Research) using Kemmis and Mc Taggart theory which uses two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings with details: 1). Implementation of actions, 2). Implementation of actions, 3). Action observation, 4). Reflection. Meanwhile, this research involved all class VII students at Mts TQ Al-Adab, totaling 24 students. There are two problems studied in this research according to the problem formulation, namely how to implement the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model? What are the student learning outcomes in the subject of moral beliefs? This research was taken from several sources, namely teachers, school principals, and 24 class VII students. The results of the research show that the learning outcomes of class VII MTs TQ Al-Adab students in the subject of Aqidah Moral material discussing Faith in Angels after applying the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model in cycle I of the 24 students who completed it were 14 people with a percentage of 58.33 % and those who did not complete were 10 people with a percentage of 41.67% with an average class score of 74.2. Several main factors caused the first cycle to not achieve complete grades due to lack of class mastery, students not being used to discussing, and students being left to choose their own groups where researchers took action by maximizing class mastery, organizing student groups and socializing students to discuss. Furthermore, in cycle II of 24 students, there were 21 students who completed with a percentage of 87% and 3 students who did not complete with a percentage of 12.5% with an average class score of 78.7. This shows that student learning outcomes are increasing and are included in the very high category so that in the second cycle the level of classical student learning completeness that has been completed by the school has reached around 80%.
