Abstract

ABSTRAC Mulyana (41189903200006), Effectiviness Extracuricular Of Scouting Activies In The Formation Of Student’s Discipline Character In SMPIT Attaqwa Pusat Bekasi, Master In islamic Religious Education. Postgraduate Islamic University 45 Bekasi. This study aims to determine the effectiviness extracuricular of scouting activities in the formation of studens discipline character in SMPIT Ataqqwa Pusat to know scout extracuricular activitie programs in shaping the discipinary character of students in SMPIT Attaqwa Pusat also to know the supporting factors and the inhibiting factors in the effectiveness extracuricular of scouting activities in the formation of students discipline character in SMPIT Attaqwa Pusat. The research was conducted at SMPIT Attaqwa Pusat five sector Pondok Ungu Permai North Bekasi. This research is using qualitative type of researc, namely to reveral and discribe the realities in the field correctiy and authentically. The research instruments used were observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation guidelines for processing and analyzing data by collecting all data then re-checking also processing with descriptive qualitative techniques, then doing data reduction, after data presentationand drawing conclusions or data verification the validity of data was tested by means of confidence degree criteria that is observation extension, persistence of observations, and triangulations consisting of triangulations techniques, triangulations of data source, and triangulations of time. The finding of research in the field several that implementation effectiveness extracuricular of scouting activities in the formation of students discipline character in SMPIT Attaqwa Pusat, based on three indicatorst that is program accuracy, program implementation, and program monitoring. The activities program in formatoin of studends discipline character in the SMPIT Attaqwa Pusat such as routine trainning, hiking, and persami. There are several the supporting factors and the inhibiting factors of effectiveness extracuricular of scouting activities in the formation of students discipline character in SMPIT Attaqwa Pusat. The supporting factors such as the attitute, knowledge and experiense prosessed by the scout master, awareness and self motivation of the students, funds, facilities and infrastructure, the support of the students parents, and the sorrunding community. While the inhibiting factors such as weather factors that sometime is not support in implementation the effectiveness extracuricular of scouting activities, the studentslack of interest to doing extracuricular of scouting activities and physical condition of students that sometime also not support in doing implementation extracuricular of scouting activities. Based on the these findings we can conclution that more effective the scouting activities that carried out by the students in the school, the better the students discipline character.
