Abstract

Rizky Purnomo Aji, 41182191190103: Enhancing Learning Outcomes of Overhead Passing in Handball through the Application of Reciprocal Teaching Methods in Grade X PPLG Students at SMK Fatahillah Cileungca. Thesis, Physical Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University "45" Bekasi. This study aims to improve learning outcomes of overhead passing in handball by applying reciprocal teaching methods to Grade X PPLG students at SMK Fatahillah Cileungsi. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observations, cognitive, affective, and psychomotor tests. The results show a significant improvement in students' ability to perform overhead passing. In the pre-cycle stage, only 15% of students achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (MCC). After applying reciprocal teaching methods in Cycle I, the percentage of students who achieved MCC increased to 46%, and in Cycle II, it further increased to 92%. This improvement reflects the effectiveness of reciprocal teaching methods in enhancing overhead passing skills in handball while building social interaction among students. This study recommends the application of reciprocal teaching methods in sports learning to improve learning outcomes, motivation, and student engagement.
