Abstract

Khalis Jadid 41182911200053. ISLAMIC CHARACTER PROGRAM AND ITS IMPACT ON EARLY CHILDHOOD CHARACTER AT TK BUNDA MEDAN SATRIA, BEKASI CITY. Islamic Education Study Program. Islamic University 45 Bekasi. (1446 H/2024 AD). (110 pages [from cover to references]) This study aims to understand the Islamic character program and its implementation at TK BUNDA Medan Satria Bekasi, as well as to identify the factors that support and hinder the implementation of the program. Additionally, this research seeks to examine the impact of Islamic character education on early childhood character at TK BUNDA Medan Satria Bekasi. This research is a descriptive qualitative study that employs a field research method. The sources of data consist of primary and secondary data, while the data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. Interviews are conducted with the principal, teachers, and parents at TK BUNDA Medan Satria Bekasi. Observations are made by monitoring the activities of the Islamic character program implemented by the teachers and the behavior of the students. Documentation aims to gather supporting documents available in the field. The results of this study show that the Islamic character programs at TK BUNDA Medan Satria include integrating Islamic values into daily learning, introducing and teaching the Qur'an and Hadith, teaching worship, and teaching ethics and habituation of Islamic behavior. These programs have a positive impact on the development of Islamic character in early childhood, namely that early childhood at TK BUNDA Medan Satria, Bekasi, becomes capable and accustomed to carrying out Islamic activities such as reciting prayers, surahs, hadiths, and worship activities such as prayer, fasting, and charity. Supporting factors for the program include Islamic extracurricular activities such as tahsin and tahfidz, various learning media, a supportive social environment, and competent educators. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors for the implementation of the program are the lack of parental support and the different family backgrounds and characters of the children.
