Abstract

Employee performance is about what is done and how to do it. This shows that employee performance includes work results and work processes. Work results are what employees have done which is usually measured in quantitative and quality work results. The Population Administration Information System is a system that functions to manage population data with the aim of organizing the population information system so that orderly administration can be achieved. In this research, the research perspective uses constructivist research. The research method required in this research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach or describing an object being observed as the aim of the research. Data sourced from activity reports, interviews, field notes, photos and other important notes. The results of this research are interpreted as the work results achieved by employees of the Bekasi Regency Population and Civil Registration Service in accordance with their job duties and responsibilities. These results are evaluated based on elements of employee performance Hasibuan (2007:95) such as work performance, loyalty, honesty, discipline, creativity, cooperation, leadership, personality, initiative, skills and responsibility which are in accordance with the elements above. The obstacles that occur in improving employee performance in the Population Administration Information Sector of the Bekasi Regency Population and Civil Registration Service are the lack of responsibility and discipline of employees in their work. Efforts to improve employee discipline and responsibility include education and training, improving communication.
