Abstract

A good and positive organizational communication climate must be built in an organizational environment in order to create a comfortable work environment. The relationship between employees and superiors is a factor in support, decision making, trust, confidence, and credibility, as well as high performance goals. Every organization must have problems in it, as happened at PT Mandom Indonesia tbk, there is a turnover rate that occurred as many as 183 employees from 2020-2024. The company must be able to reduce the level of turnover intention, because a high turnover rate will cause the company to lose competent employees. This research aims to obtain in-depth information about the organizational communication climate that occurs and the factors of employees' desire to leave PT Mandom Indonesia tbk. This research uses a qualitative case study method with data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study explain that good communication between superiors and subordinates contributes greatly to the creation of a positive communication climate, namely in terms of the creation of Kaizen. Superiors who are able to communicate clearly, provide feedback and listen to input from subordinates create a more open and respectful work environment, but the level of turnover intention that occurs is not only from the organizational communication climate factor, but from the lack of voluntary career development.
