Abstract

Training can be said to be successful if it is able to achieve the goal of improving competence. Rumah Tempe Indonesia has been carrying out hygienic tempeh production training since 2012, but an evaluation has not been held. This study aims to 1) Determine the characteristics of hygienic tempeh production training participants, 2) Analyze the improvement of participants' competencies before and after participating in the training, 3) Evaluate the effectiveness of hygienic tempeh production training at the level of reaction, learning, behavior, and results at Rumah Tempe Indonesia. The method and data analysis used are descriptive analysis and Wilcoxon test using SPSS version 29. The results of the study showed that 80% were male, 33% were aged 31-35 years, the majority were domiciled in Bogor, 55% were high school/vocational school graduates, and their monthly income was in the range of 1,500,000-3,000,000. The reaction level showed a high level of participant satisfaction, the learning level had an increase of 1.96 in knowledge competence, the level of behavior of participants always applied knowledge in their workplace, and at the level of results there was a significant difference between before and after participating in the hygienic tempeh production training at Rumah Tempe Indonesia. This shows that the training organized by Rumah Tempe Indonesia has been running effectively. Keywords: evaluation; training effectiveness; Kirkpatrick model
