Abstract

EVALUATION OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE TEACHING FACTORY PROGRAM AT METLAND SCHOOL BOGOR TOURISM VOCATIONAL SCHOOL Suharti Program Studi Magister Manajemen Pendidikan Islam tiehar16@gmail.com This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the Teaching Factory program at the Metland School Bogor Tourism Vocational School. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a focus on four aspects of evaluation, context, program input, process and product. The evaluation results show the success of the program in the context aspect where the school succeeded in integrating industry standards into product/service education. They are effective in building student competency with industry knowledge and standards, as well as increasing the integration of teaching activities as practice for students. Effective communication and collaboration are the keys to achieving common goals. In the program input aspect, the school's financial management system runs efficiently and transparently. An integrated organizational structure and job desk supports program effectiveness. The implementation of innovation in the Teaching Factory has improved student learning experiences and teacher effectiveness. And the process aspect shows that the school has succeeded in implementing the program with an effective budget and promotion. Nevertheless, external promotion is necessary to increase the school's visibility. The use of communication media such as brochures and leaflets has proven effective in promoting school activities. Then the product shows improvement in quality, quantity and on-time delivery of the product. However, stricter quality control is necessary to maintain customer satisfaction and profitability. Commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous innovation is needed to improve product quality in a sustainable manner. Evaluation of the implementation of the Teaching Factory at the Metland School Bogor Tourism Vocational School shows positive results in the integration of industry standards, management effectiveness, process implementation and product quality. Recommendations for improving external promotion and quality control could strengthen the future success of this program. Keywords: Evaluation, Teaching, Factory.
