Abstract
Using learning media that suits students' conditions and needs can increase students' understanding, so teachers need to know the media criteria that must be used so that students can like and accept them. Quizizz is one of the other interactive learning forms in the form of quizzes. Quizizz can be used as a teacher's choice as a learning medium because it is game and technology based. The aim of this research is to describe the effect of quizizz-based interactive learning media on student understanding. This research uses a quantitative approach, because the data presented is in the form of numbers and analyzed using statistics. This research uses an experimental research method with a Nonequivalent Control Group design. The number of samples in this study was 62 students, divided into experimental classes and control classes. The instrument used is a test sheet. The data collection techniques used are tests and documentation. Based on the results of research data analysis, the understanding of experimental class students before being given treatment was an average of 85.59 after being given treatment with an average of 96.65, while the control class who were not given special treatment had a pre-test score of 75.76 and a post-test score of 78. .30. The results of the pre-test and post-t test in the experimental class were with a tcount value of 3.228 > than ttable 2.042, meaning that H0 was accepted and Ha was rejected. Meanwhile, the results of the post test scores for the experimental and control classes were tcount 9.510 > than ttable 2.000 with df=0.050, meaning it can be concluded that there is an influence of quizizz-based interactive learning media on students' understanding of Islamic religious education.
