Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students, this can be seen from the fact that many students still cannot understand the material that has been explained, apart from that students cannot apply science concepts in everyday life at school or at home, and cannot yet convey the conclusions of the learning that has been learned, the use of learning methods is still very rarely used, and student learning outcomes in science subjects are still very low, namely out of 36 students who were able to complete only 10 students, while 20 others did not complete. The aim of this research. is to improve student learning outcomes class V SDN Ciketing Udik IV with Pair Check type cooperative model. The research method used is CAR (Classroom Action Research) which consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and four stages, namely planning, anning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were 36 class V students at SDN Ciketing Udik IV, consisting of 18 male students and 18 female students. Data collection was carried out through observation and the results of a written essay test totaling 10 questions. Data analysis was carried out using the success indicator in this research if 80% of the total number of students achieved the predetermined KKM score, namely 75. Based on the research results from each cycle, the classical percentage increase in cycle I activities was 56% with an average value of 67.16, in cycle II it was 89% with an average value of 83.58. The increase in student learning outcomes with the Pair Check type cooperative model from cycle I to cycle II in science subjects was 33%. Thus it can be concluded that the Pair Check type cooperative model can improve learning outcomes. for class V students at SDN Ciketing Udik IV.
