Abstract

Nama : Tely Kusriyani Program Studi : Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Judul : Upaya Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Siswa Kelas V Melalui Model Quantum Learning Pada Pembelajaran IPA Di MI Al-Falah Padurenan Kecamatan Mustika Jaya This research was motivated by the low understanding of concepts in science subjects at MI Al-Falah Padurenan Kec. Mustika Jaya. This can be seen from students have not been able to explain back the material that has been learned, students have not been able to provide examples of the material that has been learned, students have not been able to compare from the material learned, students have not been able to conclude the material that has been learned. The purpose of this study is to improve the understanding of science concepts through quantum learning models in class V MI Al-Falah Padurenan Kec. Mustika Jaya. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) by going into the field to conduct research. This research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were conducted on grade V students of MI Al-Falah Padurenan Kec. Mustika Jaya which amounted to 21 students, consisting of 8 male students and 13 female students. The data in this study were obtained using data collection techniques from written tests, forms of description, and observation. The classical completeness of this research is 80% of the number of students who achieve KKM 75 scores. From the results of research on understanding the concept of science students, it can be seen that there was an increase in the first cycle obtaining an overall average score of 67 with a percentage of 52% of students having achieved classical completion. While in cycle II there was an increase with an overall average score of 84 with a percentage of 86% of students who had achieved classical completion. This shows that the quantum learning model is able to improve the understanding of concepts in class V science subjects MI Al-Falah Padurenan Kec. Mustika Jaya.
