Abstract

Farahiyah Azzyati, NPM 41182911190122. School Principal Supervision Efforts on the Teaching Skills of PAI Teachers at SDIT Bina Insani Muslim. Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Religion, Islamic University 45 Bekasi. This research aims to determine the supervision efforts carried out by the principal regarding the teaching skills of PAI teachers. This research is motivated by the problem that there is still principal supervision which has not reached a satisfactory level, thus damaging the teaching skills of PAI teachers, which can result in a decline in student learning achievement. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation methods. To determine the validity of the data by comparing data that has been obtained from existing sources. Data management is taken when researchers observe directly in the field and after collecting data from the field. The results of this research can be concluded that the Principal has the authority to conduct school supervision which is motivated by the Minister of Education Regulation No. 13 of 2007 concerning School Principal competency standards. With the Principal's supervision efforts, teachers can have directed and planned teaching skills. In the results of this research, PAI teachers have special teaching skills to achieve learning goals. The efforts made by the Principal and PAI teachers to improve teaching skills have been carried out well.
