Abstract

The development of information technology in various aspects of life is used by some people to improve the quality of their lives. Technological developments are also used by the government to build smart cities so that the public services received by the community are better, including in terms of openness of public information. Openness of public information is one of the government's responsibilities as a consequence of state and government administration. Basically, the main aim of public information disclosure is to ensure that public institutions are more accountable and credible by providing information and documents according to public requests. Electronic Government is also the government's effort to develop electronic-based government service delivery by utilizing information technology. In electronic government, improvements in public services can also be realized. This research aims to analyze the implementation in realizing public information openness in DKI Jakarta with the Electronic Government case study of the Jakarta Kini Application. This research uses a constructivist paradigm with qualitative descriptive research methods and a case study research design. The data collection techniques used were observation, in-depth interviews with a number of informants, literature study and documentation. Technical analysis of data is carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The research results state that the implementation of e-government through the JAKI application has gone quite well, by providing ease in accessing information and reporting public concerns through JakLapor, with the JAKI application it can also help people in their daily lives, with the openness of information it can also increase public trust. The public's perception is also quite good with the JAKI application and they can feel the benefits in everyday life. Keywords : Electronic Government, Information Disclosure, Jakarta Kini
