Abstract

The background of this research is that this research aims to determine the skills of writing descriptive essays in Indonesian language subjects for class IV students at SD Negeri Penngasinan III, Bekasi City, using the picture and picture learning model. This research uses quantitative research methods. . sampling using Porposive Sampling. The research sample had 16 experimental class students while the control class had 15 students. Data collection techniques use performance tests. The research results showed that the average pre-test score for the experimental class was 45.68 and the average post-test score was 69.87. The control class showed an average pre-test score of 33.66, post-test of 50.73. T-test analysis was obtained
