Abstract
Hubungan Gaya Kepemimpinan Demokratis dan Manajemen Konflik dengan Kinerja Kepala Sekolah Dasar Negeri Se-Kabupaten Bekasi ABSTRACT wagieramadhan@gmail.com This study aims to determine the relationship between democratic leadership style and conflict management with the performance of public elementary school principals throughout Bekasi Regency. This research is quantitative research with a correlational approach. The data collection techniques that researchers used were observation, interviews and questionnaires and were analyzed with the Correllation. The results of this study concluded that: 1) there is a relationship between democratic leadership style and the performance of school principals with significance values of 0.001 < 0.05; 2) there is a relationship between conflict management and the principal's performance with a significance value of 0.017 < 0.05; 3) there is a relationship between democratic leadership style and conflict management together with the principal's performance with significance values of 0.001 < 0.05. In conclusion, this study shows that democratic leadership styles and conflict management have a significant influence on the performance of school principals. The implication of this research is the need for the development of democratic leadership and conflict management skills in principal training to improve leadership effectiveness and quality of education in schools.
