Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment and work stress on job satisfaction. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were operational employees of PT Lima Dua Puluh Nusantara Express, Jatiasih Branch, with a total sample of 55 respondents. For sampling, this study used a nonprobability sampling technique and used a purposive sampling method. The use of the analytical method used is descriptive analysis. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires via Google Form to employees. For data analysis using statistical tests and calculations using multiple linear regression which is calculated using the Statistical Product and Service Solution 25 (SPSS 25) program. The results showed that, (1) partially the work environment variable has a significant effect on job satisfaction and (2) partially the work stress variable has a significant effect on job satisfaction. From the results of the study, it was obtained that the coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.706, which means that the influence of the work environment and work stress together has an effect of 70.6% on job satisfaction, while the remaining 29.4% is influenced by other factors outside of this study.
