Abstract
Ajeng Rahmaida. 41182911180009. Experimentation of the Crossword Puzzle Method to improve learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education Class XI SMK Teknikom Cikarang. Islamic University "45" Bekasi. 2023 M/1444 H. This study aims to determine and analyze student learning outcomes between the use of the crossword puzzle method and the discussion method. The research method used in this study is the experimental method. The experimental method can also be interpreted as a research method used to find the effect of certain treatments on others under controlled conditions. This research was conducted at SMK Teknikom Cikarang. The population is all students of class XI SMK Teknikom Cikarang, while the sample in this study is 160 people using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used a pretest and posttest as well as a questionnaire/questionnaire with a total of 40 items. From the results of research conducted on Islamic Religious Education class XI SMK Teknikom Cikarang, it can be concluded that there are differences in the learning outcomes of the crossword puzzle method and the discussion method, that the crossword puzzle method has an effect on learning outcomes. Where the pretest score in the experimental class is 70 and the posttest score in the experimental class is 100 compared to the control class the pretest results are 65 and the posttest is 95, the learning outcomes of the crossword puzzle method produce cognitive and psychomotor learning outcomes for students, this conclusion supports the crossword method hypothesis puzzles with discussion.
