Abstract

ABSTRACT Thesis Title : The Effectiveness of Principal Supervision in Improving Pedagogic Competence in the First School of Integrated Islam al Azhar Jaya Indonesia, Mustika Jaya District, Bekasi City Constituent Name : Muhammad Soleh Major : Islamic Education Management Email : mrsoleh204@gmail.com ========================================================== This study aims to determine the effectiveness of principal supervision in improving teacher competence at the Al-Azhar Jaya Indonesia Integrated Islamic First School, Mustika Jaya District, Bekasi City and this research is intended to get a complete picture of the effectiveness of supervision, supervision strategies and the role of principal supervision in understanding teacher pedagogic competencies.The research was conducted at SMPIT al- Azhar Jaya Inodesia, Mustika jaya district, Bekasi city, West Java. This research isadescriptive quantative study. Qualitative research is research that provides a comprehensive and clear picture of the social situation under study Research methodology is the process, principles and procedures used in approaching problems, assessing and seeking answers to research topics. The method carried out by field studies (fiel researsch). in this field study, researchers individually speak and observepeople as sources of information through interactions for several days. The instrument that is gunakan is observation (field visit) with face-to-face to see about the condition of the research site. The informants who were made sanpel were the principal, curriculum field and teachers. The technique of collecting data is to use interview techniques equipped with a grid of interview guidelines, transcripts of interviews with informants. After the data is obtained, then a data matrix is made Triangulation between informants then data reduction is carried out, and the presentation of the data ends with a conclusion.Research in the field conducted found that the pedagogical competence of teachers at SMPIT al-Azhar Jaya Indonesia has not been fully understood by teachers but the head of the sekolah with strategies, his role through the effectiveness of supervision of improving teacher pedagogic competence can be overcome with various activities and programs.
