Abstract

Kholimatu Rosida (41183402170159) how emotional intelligence and work stress affect employee performance CV Smart Living Kichenset Bekasi xiii + 87 page + 17 table + 4 picture + 9 attachment Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Work Stress, Employee Performance This study discusses how emotional intelligence and work stress affect employee performance. The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of emotional intelligence and work stress on the performance of CV Smart Living Kitchenset employees. The sampling technique used nonprobability sampling with the saturated sample method, totaling 43 respondents were employees of CV Smart Living Kitchenset Bekasi. The data collection technique used a questionnaire distributed via google form. The analytical test tool used is Smart PLS 3.0 with SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis method. The results show that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by the original sample value of 0.652 and the significance value of t-statistics (5.676 > 1.96) or p-value (0.000 <0.05), work stress has a positive and not significant on employee performance as evidenced by the original sample value of 0.215 and the significance value of t-statistics (1.310 <1.96) and p-value (0.097> 0.05). The R-Square value of employee performance is 0.508, which means that 50.8% emotional intelligence and work stress affect the performance of CV Smart Living Kitchenset Bekasi employees and the remaining 49.2% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
