Abstract

This study aimed to examine the relationship between meaningful work and happiness at work with turnover intention among employees in the Cikarang industrial area. A quantitative correlational design was employed involving 388 employees, with the sample size determined using the Lemeshow formula and selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Spearman's rank correlation and multiple linear regression. The results indicated that meaningful work was significantly and negatively correlated with turnover intention (rₛ = −0.283, p < .05). Similarly, happiness at work was significantly and negatively correlated with turnover intention (rₛ = −0.261, p < .05). Furthermore, meaningful work and happiness at work jointly showed a significant relationship with turnover intention (R² = .201, p < .05), indicating that both variables explained 20.1% of the variance in employees' turnover intention.
