Abstract
The phenomenon of quiet quitting has become increasingly prevalent among Generation Z employees and may affect organizational effectiveness. This study aimed to examine the influence of perceived organizational support and work engagement on quiet quitting among Generation Z employees in Bekasi. This study employed a quantitative correlational design involving 120 participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using the Quiet Quitting Scale, Perceived Organizational Support Scale, and Work Engagement Scale, and analyzed using Spearman Rank correlation and multiple linear regression. The results showed that perceived organizational support (β = -0.767; p < 0.001) and work engagement (β = -0.700; p = 0.006) had significant negative effects on quiet quitting. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influenced quiet quitting and explained 60.7% of its variance (R² = 0.607; p < 0.001). These findings indicate that higher organizational support and work engagement are associated with lower tendencies toward quiet quitting among Generation Z employees.
