Abstract

This research focuses on group communication within the fan community of JKT48, known as JKT48 Terbaik Sedunia (JTS), in building group cohesiveness. The main objective of this study is to understand how internal communication within the community can strengthen bonds among members and maintain group solidarity. The research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods, involving in-depth interviews with community members as well as participatory observation. The findings of the study show that effective communication, the use of social media, and shared activities such as in-person meetings and online events play an important role in building and maintaining group cohesiveness. These findings contribute to understanding the dynamics of communication within fan groups and can be applied to developing effective communication strategies in similar communities.
