Abstract
This research discusses the main problems created by individual members of the police. Public opinion has become negative because of this problem which has caused the positive image of the Bekasi City Metro Police to decline. Public relations involvement is needed to rebuild public trust in the police, with the aim of overcoming negative public opinion regarding the image of the Bekasi City Metro Police. The research uses a qualitative approach through case studies with observations through personal interviews. The main theory in Bekasi City Metro Police Public Relations research, namely 4 steps of Public Relations according to Camelia, can be concluded that there are elements in the 4 stages of public relations that influence the positive image of the institution, because these elements can influence the positive image of the institution. The aim of this research is to determine the Public Relations strategy of the Bekasi City Police in improving the positive image of the institution. The results obtained from this research are the 4 Steps Public Relations strategy, Public Relations of the Bekasi City Metro Police In improving a positive image. Public Relations of the Bekasi City Metro Police has carried out its role in improving the positive image of the police institution well.
