Abstract

ABSTRACT Education is the process of producing a quality next generation of the nation, which plays an important role in the survival of a nation. Education is one way to improve the quality of human resources which is expected to be able to help students prepare themselves to help create sub-goal paths for the future. Therefore, the aim of this research is to explore the relationship between future time perspective and goal orientation with learning independence. Correlational quantitative research method with stratified sampling technique. Consisting of 4,377 populations and 366 sample respondents who were active undergraduate students at University 45 Bekasi. Data collection through interviews and psychological scales includes future time perspective, goal orientation, and learning independence. Cronbach Alpha reliability respectively ralpha = 0.925 (future time perspective), ralpha = 0.878 (goal orientation), and ralpha = 0.904 (learning independence). Hypothesis testing using RSpearman correlation. Ha1 there is a significant relationship between future time perspective and learning independence (r=0.161, p=0.002(<0.05)). Ha2 there is a significant relationship between goal orientation and learning independence (r=0.153, p=0.003(<0.05)). The third hypothesis was tested with multiple linear regression. The results showed a future time perspective and goal orientation with learning independence (B=10.883, p=0.000(<0.05)), with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.057, which means a future time perspective. and goal orientation contributed 5.7% of the influence to learning independence, while the remaining 94.3% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Keywords: Future time perspective, Goal Orientation, Self Regulated Learning ABSTRAK Pendidikan merupakan proses mencetak generasi penerus bangsa yang berkualitas, memegang peranan penting bagi hidup suatu bangsa, pendidikan menjadi salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan diharapkan mampu membantu mahasiswa agar dapat mempersiapkan diri membantunya menciptakan jalur sub-tujuan untuk masa depan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perspektif waktu masa depan dan orientasi tujuan dengan kemandirian belajar. Metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional, teknik sampel stratified sampling. Terdiri dari 4.377 populasi dan 366 sampel responden merupakan mahasiswa aktif S1 Unversitas 45 Bekasi. wawancara dan skala psikologi mencakup perspektif waktu masa depan, orientasi tujuan, dan kemandirian belajar. Reliabilitas ralpha=0,925(perspektif waktu masa depan), ralpha=0,878(orientasi tujuan), dan ralpha=0,904(kemandirian belajar). Uji hipotesis menggunakan korelasi RSpearman. Ha1 di dterima(r=0,161,p=0,002(<0,05)). Ha2 di terima(r=0,153,p=0,003(<0,05)). Ha3 diuji dengan regresi linier berganda hasil perspektif waktu masa depan dan orientasi tujuan dengan kemandirian belajar (B=10,883,p=0,000(<0,05)), dengan koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,057, yang berarti perspektif waktu masa depan dan orientasi tujuan menyumbang pengaruh sebesar 5,7% terhadap kemandirian belajar, sedangkan 94,3% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
