Abstract
This research is motivated by the problem of low student mathematics learning outcomes in elementary schools, where student learning outcomes have not yet reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) or the predetermined percentage of research completion. The aim of this research is to analyze the use of problem based learning models to improve mathematics learning outcomes. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) from 22 journals originating from the Google Scholar database which comply with the inclusion criteria, namely the problem based learning model and learning outcomes, mathematics subjects, elementary school student subjects, journals published in the last 8 years, namely (2016-2024), and the data source comes from scientific articles in journals. In this research, it is classified based on research methods, low class and high class, media assisted and not media assisted. This problem based learning model can improve and influence overcoming low mathematics learning outcomes. As for future researchers who want to use the problem based learning model, it is recommended to apply it in higher grades and develop each stage further. In this way, teachers can evaluate the extent of students' understanding based on their learning outcomes.
