Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in elementary school Natural Sciences (IPA) subjects in various regions in Indonesia which researchers have discovered from various journal articles. This is indicated by the number of students who have not reached the specified KKM. The problem of low learning outcomes in science subjects is caused by students having difficulty understanding the material, the learning model used by teachers is not suitable, students' interest in learning science is low due to boredom that occurs during the learning process. One solution to overcome the problems above is to apply the scramble model, because the scramble learning model is a model that is fun for students and involves students directly and increases students' activeness in moving. This research aims to determine the application of the scramble model as an alternative in improving learning outcomes in science subjects in elementary schools. The research method used is a systematic review (SLR) by analyzing the results of previous research relating to the use of the scramble model on science learning outcomes in elementary schools. The sample analysis in this research is 10 journal articles that have been published in the 2017-2020 period, which are reviewed from various aspects, namely: (1) based on the journal area, (2) based on the research methodology used, namely 4 Classroom Action Research (PTK) journal articles ), and 6 experimental research journal articles, (3) grouping journal articles based on aspects of science learning materials and media, (4) reviewed based on indicators of student learning outcomes in both lower and upper grades, (5) reviewed from analysis of learning outcomes IPA. Based on the analysis findings, there are differences in results in the application of the scramble learning mode, but overall this research shows the conclusion that the scramble learning model is suitable for use in the learning process, providing a positive influence and can improve learning outcomes in science subjects for elementary school students.
