Abstract
This Scientific Writing (KTI) is entitled "The Effect of the Team Assisted Individualization Model on Social Studies Learning Outcomes for Elementary School Students". Social studies learning at the elementary school level is to develop students' sensitivity to the social life around them. Social studies learning currently requires innovation in order to improve the quality of learning so that social studies learning objectives are achieved, one of which is that students can think logically and critically. Social studies learning is the ability to interact with the surrounding environment. Based on several studies of problems found by researchers in journals, it can be seen that student learning outcomes in social studies subjects are still low. Learning is still dominated by teachers and innovative learning has not been implemented in the classroom. So that in learning activities, students are passive and only wait for information from the teacher without the initiative to seek information on their own. In addition, teachers also rarely give students the opportunity to work together with other students. These problems can be overcome by using the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model. The Team Assisted Individualiation (TAI) learning model is a learning model that forms heterogeneous groups with different backgrounds from students' thinking abilities so that students can help each other. In other words, students are responsible for their teammates. Prediction of results using the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model students are believed to be able to improve social studies learning outcomes in the indicators of cognitive learning outcomes assessment, namely: 1. Remembering (C1), 2. Understanding (C2), 3. Applying (C3), 4 Analyzing (C4), 5. Evaluating (C5), 6. Creating (C6).
