Abstract
Penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya pemahaman konsep IPA pada materi alat gerak hewan. Adapun permasalahannya yaitu: 1) Siswa masih kurang mampu menjelaskan materi yang telah dipelajari, 2) Siswa masih kurang mampu dalam memberikan contoh dari materi, 3) Siswa masih kurang mampu dalam mengklasifikasikan materi, 4) Siswa masih kurang mampu menyimpulkan materi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan bahasanya sendiri. mengatasi permasalahan tersebut perlu diterapkannya model SAVI (Somatic, Auditroy, Visual, Intelectual) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPA pada Siswa kelas V SDN Kebalen 01, Bekasi Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus, dengan subjek berjumlah 28 siswa dimana setiap siklusnya dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 kali pertemuan. Dalam siklus tersebut terdiri dari empat tahapan yang meliputi: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa tes tertulis dan observasi. Kriteria keberhasilan dari penelitian ini adalah 80% dengan nilai KKM yang telah ditentukan sebesar 70. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari setiap siklusnya mengalami peningkatan dimana pada prasiklus sebanyak 11 siswa mampu mencapai KKM dengan presentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 11 % dengan nilai rata – rata kelas 59,8, kemudian pada siklus I, sebanyak 16 siswa mampu mencapai KKM dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal 57 % dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 69,91 dan pada siklus II sebanyak 23 orang siswa mampu mencapai KKM dengan nilai presentase keberhasilan klasikal sebesar 83 % dengan nilai rata – rata 85,8. Berdasarkan perolehan data dari hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran SAVI mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPA siswa sebesar 25% di SDN Kebalen 01, Bekasi Utara. The problems are: 1) Students are still unable to explain the material that has been learned, 2) Students are still unable to provide examples of material, 3) Students are still unable to classify material, 4) Students are still unable to conclude learning material using their own language. overcoming these problems requires the application of the SAVI (Somatic, Auditroy, Visual, Intelectual) model which aims to improve understanding of science concepts in fifth grade students of SDN Kebalen 01, North Bekasi The method used in this research is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of 2 cycles, with a total of 28 students where each cycle is held 2 times a meeting. The cycle consists of four stages which include: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection used is in the form of written tests and observations. Theg success criteria of this study is 80% with a predetermined KKM value of 70. Based on the research results from each cycle, there was an increase where in the pre-cycle as many as 11 students were able to achieve KKM with a percentage of classical learning completeness of 11% with an average class score of 59.8, then in cycle I, as many as 16 students were able to achieve KKM with a percentage of classical learning completeness of 57% with an average class score of 69.91 and in cycle II as many as 23 students were able to achieve KKM with a classical success percentage value of 83% with an average score of 85.8. Based on the data obtained from the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the SAVI learning model can improve students' understanding of science concepts 25% at SDN Kebalen 01, North Bekasi.
