Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of job insecurity and psychological well-being on work engagement. It employs a quantitative approach with a design utilizing correlational research and multiple linear regression. The study involves 20 employees from PT. Basst Pratama Tehnik using a population study technique or the entire respondent pool. Data collection involves interviews and psychological scale assessments. The instruments used include the job insecurity scale with a Cronbach's Alpha reliability value of 0.903, the psychological well-being scale with a Cronbach's Alpha reliability value of 0.953, and the work engagement scale with a Cronbach's Alpha reliability value of 0.920. Data analysis utilizes Spearman's Rank Correlation technique and Multiple Linear Regression Test to test hypotheses. The results of the study regarding the variables of job insecurity and psychological well-being on work engagement show an F value of 26.778 with a significance of 0.000 (p<0.05). This indicates that job insecurity and psychological well-being collectively have a significant influence on work engagement. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.759, meaning that job insecurity and psychological well-being collectively account for 75.9% of the variance in work engagement, while the remaining 24.1% is influenced by other unexamined variables in this study.
