Abstract

Advances in science and information technology that are happening rapidly at this time bring convenience in the activity of obtaining various information. Linked Applications. In is a platform that functions to find information on job vacancies by connecting its users with corporate executive professionals around the world. This ;study aims to determine the effect of the LinkedIn application on fulfilling the need for information on job vacancies, especially for alumni of the Islamic University 45 Bekasi. The research method used in this research is quantitative with descriptive and explanatory analysis. This type of research using data collection techniques is a survey. The sampling was carried out using the Certified Random Sampling technique using 100 respondents. Data analysis used Rank Spearment correlation with SPSS version 25. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between the perceptions of alumni of the Islamic University 45 Bekasi on the use of the LinkedIn application. Knowledge of the alumni has a percentage of 53 agree. This is evidenced by the strong correlation between cognitive knowledge and drive encouragement of 0.742 and external incentive factor of 0.551.
