Abstract

This research was conducted due to the low cursive writing skills of class II students at SDIT Atssurayya Cikarang Utara Bekasi in Indonesian language subjects. Based on observations of 26 students there were only 8 students who had completed and 18 students who had not completed. The problem in this study was 1). How are the cursive writing skills in class II SDIT Atssurayya before using the guided inquiry method?. 2). How is the application of cursive writing skills in Indonesian subjects using the guided inquiry method to class II students SDIT Atssurayya?. 3). What is the method Guided inquiry can improve cursive writing skills in Indonesian in class II SDIT Atssurayya? students. The aims of the research were 1). To find out cursive writing skills at SDIT Atssurayya before using the guided inquiry method. 2). To find out the application of cursive writing skills using the guided inquiry method to class II students at SDIT Atssurayya Cikarang Utara Bekasi. 3). determine the improvement of cursive writing skills using the guided inquiry method in class II students at SDIT Atssurayya Cikarang Utara Bekasi. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR). The PTK model used is the Kurt Lewin model in which there are 4 stages of implementation namely planning, observation, action and reflection. The subjects of this study were the second grade students at SDIT Atssurayya Cikarang Utara Bekasi 26 students. Data collection was carried out by researchers through observation, interviews, tests and documentation.
