Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of the Jigsaw method in science learning on learning outcomes. Based on the results of the analysis of several journals, the problems that occur in learning outcomes in elementary schools are the low learning outcomes of science. Because the learning process carried out is still using conventional methods where students are not actively involved in the learning process, students are less enthusiastic about participating in learning and students are less active in science learning. So that the solution to this problem can be overcome by using the Jigsaw method on learning outcomes for elementary students. The Jigsaw Type Cooperative learning model is a cooperative learning technique where students, not teachers, have greater responsibility in carrying out learning. The type of research method used in this research is Scientific Writing (KTI). The research method is carried out by collecting and evaluating sources or references to articles and journals that are in accordance with the research topic. Sources of data used in this study are journals related to the Jigsaw Type Cooperative learning model on the ability of learning outcomes. This study uses 14 journals as research material including research journals published in the last 5 years (2017-2022) with primary school research subjects and journals that can be accessed or downloaded.
