Abstract

Late adolescence is marked by various future demands that often trigger psychological pressure in the form of future anxiety. This study aims to determine the relationship between spiritual well-being on future anxiety in late adolescents, with perceived social support as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach and mediation regression analysis. A non-probability sampling technique (quota sampling) was employed, involving 110 active students from grade XI at SMAN 2 Bekasi. The research instruments used included the Future Anxiety Scale (α = 0.940), Perceived Social Support (α = 0.940), and Spiritual Well-Being (α = 0.880). The analysis results indicate that perceived social support does not have a significant effect on future anxiety (b = 0.064; p = 0.578). Furthermore, the indirect effect of 0.015 with a 95% bootstrap confidence interval (-0.042 to 0.063) includes the value 0, thus, perceived social support does not mediate the relationship between spiritual well-being and future anxiety.
