Abstract

ABSTRACT The total number of violence cases against women reached 445,502, showing an increase of almost 10% compared to 401,975 cases in 2023. Gender-based violence against women (GBV) accounted for 330,097 cases, marking a 14.17% rise from 289,111 cases in the previous year. This phenomenon is also reflected among respondents, as four out of five participants reported experiencing Toxic Relationships. The research employed a non-parametric correlational design. The participants were early adults aged 18–25 years, totaling 261 respondents. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling, with convenience sampling as the method of sample collection. The Toxic Relationship tendency instrument demonstrated a reliability coefficient of 0.982, the trust scale showed a reliability of 0.982, and the happiness scale obtained a reliability coefficient of 0.981. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and multiple regression. The results of the multiple linear regression test revealed a coefficient of determination (R) of 0.889 and an R² value of 0.808, indicating that the independent variables (Trust and Happiness) contributed 80.8% to the dependent variable (Tendency toward Toxic Relationship), while the remaining 19.2% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Keywords: Toxic Relationship tendency, trust and happiness ABSTRAK Total kasus kekerasan terhadap perempuan: 445.502 kasus, meningkat hampir 10% dibandingkan tahun 2023 yang mencatat 401.975 kasus. Adapun Kekerasan berbasis gender terhadap perempuan (KBG): 330.097 kasus, naik 14,17% dari 289.111 kasus pada tahun sebelumnya. Hal ini juga dirasakan oleh responden yang 4 dari 5 responden penah marasakan hubungan Toxic Relationship. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Trust dan Happiness terhadap kecenderungan Toxic Relationship. Disain penelitian korelasi non parametrik. Subjek adalah dewasa awal berusia 18-25 tahun sebanyak 261 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu non-probability sampling, serta teknik pengumpulan sampel ialah teknik convenience sampling. Instrumen Kecenderungan Toxic Relationship mendapatkan hasil dengan reabilitas sebesar 0,982, skala instrumen Trust dengan reabilitas sebesar 0,982, skala instrumen Happiness dengan reliabiltas 0,981 Analisis data menggunakan korelasi Pearson dan regresi ganda. Adapun hasil uji regresi linear berganda mendapatkan nilai koefisien determinasi (R) adalah 0,889 dan koefisien (R2) nya 0,808 hal ini menjelaskan bahwa variabel bebas (Trust dan Happiness) memberikan sumbangan pengaruh terhadap variabel terikat (Kecenderungan Toxic Relationship) sebesar 80,8% sedangkan sisanya 20,8% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini Kata kunci: Kecenderungan Toxic Relationship, trust dan happiness
